MURRAY (top) and SAM are two-month-old litter-mates. MURRAY is a fun, healthy kitten who enjoys playing and wrestling with his brother. SAM, the little gray tabby kitten, is playful and ready for a forever home. Both kittens were born in a foster home and have not spent time in a shelter or outside. On the left is BARNEY, male tabby, with his sister, black kitten, MIDNIGHT. They will be available to adopt at the end of May or early June. Look for more photos as they grow bigger!

HENRY is an altered male coonhound, 1 to 2 years old. Henry is healthy, happy, and energetic, and he loves to be with people and other dogs (but probably not cats). Henry needs to be with someone who can understand his hound instincts. He has a lot of energy and would benefit from a fenced-in yard. He is very sweet and loving but still has puppy tendencies, like being mouthy and stealing things like shoes. He is crate trained and housebroken but not suitable for a home where no one is home all day. Henry is a great running partner. BELLA is a spayed female, mixed breed, 8 years old, already potty trained, and gets along great with dogs and cats! She is heartworm negative, on flea/tick prevention, and up to date on vaccines! Tree of Hope is the Petco Foundation's annual holiday fundraising campaign and continues to be the largest source of revenue for the Foundation and the many local groups it assists. Donations collected in stores during Tree of Hope go directly to animal welfare groups so they may continue their work in making better lives for animals through adoption, spay/neuter, and training. Last year the Petco Foundation raised more than $4 million during Tree of Hope, to support over 8,000 agencies, both large and small.

The show is produced and hosted by our own Animal Rights Activist Angel, Kim Hyder. Kim is the heart and soul of this production. Kim has logged countless hours in her dedication to bringing FOBA's mission statement to the masses. We couldn't do it without her.

We would like to express our appreciation to Henry's Wine Cellar for hosting our wine tasting on June 6th. We had a nice turnout and everyone enjoyed the fine wines and delicious hors d'oeuvres. Thanks to everyone who supported FOBA by buying or selling tickets and attending. Every successful event enables us to help more homeless animals, and that's what we're all about!

Many thanks to Not Your Average Joe's for partnering with FOBA on May 7th for a Not Your Average Cause restaurant day. They donated 15% of the receipts from our supporters who dined at NYAJ's that day. Wonderful food and a we made some $$ for our animal rescue work. Thanks also to all who showed their support by eating there. We look forward to doing this again in the near future.
